Why I want to meet robert
To steal back my hoodie !
I like her set of goals, full of positive questioning and reassessment. She is wise beyond what her years suggest and always gives thoughtful responses that often make me think about something from a different angle. Her use of English is fab, I love the way she writes in that clear and concise way of hers. She certainly has a knack for this communication stuff! She’s cool.
I first encountered LOM back in 2005. I encountered this wave of posts that were full of creativity, support, passion, love, warmth, kindness, humanity, dignity, care, diversity and resolve to name but a few of their characteristics. Ive missed a few hundred so forgive me there.
If I recall correctly, she was the 1st person on 43t I ever subscribed to. She has a lot answer for I think! In fact I’m gonna blame her for contributing to my 43t addiction, she got the ball rolling and got me looking at all sorts of interesting people who she bounced and played with in this little 43t playground.
She’s a marvellous person, but, don’t take my word for it. Just go take a look at some of the things she has to say…
:)
Robert is a really genuine, kind and fun guy to be subscribed to. I originaly noticed him when i saw that he has Practice Random Acts Of Kindness as one of his goals and i knew i had to subscribe, anyone who shows that much willingness to help others in a completly positive and selfless way is my kinda person
From reading his posts i have established that Robert is a wonderful and caring father who clearly adores his children and aspires to want, and acheve the best for them that he posibily can. This tells me a lot about his character and how he is a sweet and thoughtful guy whos supportive kindness comes through in everything he writes
There should be more people around like Robert, the world would be a nicer place
:)
I like this person. I admire the way in which she shares her true feelings. Is honest and trusting enough to tell fellow 43t’ers what she is thinking and what she is feeling, be it ‘good’ or ‘bad’. I love her honesty. If you read her posts you will find that they are full of hope, optimism, fun, zanyness and joy, sprinkled amongst which are healthy doses of humility, understanding and compassion for others. She is a brave, determined, hard working and thoughtful person who can jump from ’zany cuckoo’ness’ to ’hey, here if you need me..’ type posts at the drop of a hat. Despite the hard time she’s having, she refuses steadfast to let it overwhelm her and continues to bounce back time after time after time. I respect and admire that in a person and tip my hat in acknowledgement.
Laweeez’s womble avatar reminds me of that cheery wombles song, so straight off the bat, gives me a little internal smile.
I like reading her food stuff, her kids homework stuff and her general observations about anything she chooses to participate in. She can be both self deprecating, and humourous in the same paragraph and is never brash with her opinions. My kinda 43t’er. Oh and I think she’s a Brit in France too, cos she got all reminiscent for HP Sauce and Milton Keynes when I wrote on it once! ;-)
I like IamElectroGirl. Ive been subbed to her for some time now. She is one of those people who floats around here like a little butterfly occasionaly settling down to knock out a string of lyrics from some random band Ive never heard of. She is a lot of fun, I enjoy reading her posts. You’ll see many facets of humanity within them, the most dominant of which are friendship, humour and supportive kindness.
Mooniebutt is great. She posts all manner of great stuff, full of nice little anecdotes and stuff. You’ll find all sorts of little gems, usually accompanied by an apt little pic or cartoon (hokiebutt does some great stuff). She has a great sense of humour and is one of those people who make 43t one of my must do dailies. :)
Danabee is one of those people who has a habit of injecting joy and general smilieness into this little 43t world of ours. She has lots to say and comments with wisdom, empathy, compassion, humour…hey, she’s human and a lovely positive one at that. The world would do well to have a few more like her.
John is certainly one of lifes good eggs. John shows to us all an honest face of humanity that is both refreshing, inspiring and at times humbling too. He knows a bit about Brits and stuff too, I’d say he’s no chav, despite the fact that he has a thing for Vicky P!
